American Defense Lawyers to Support the St. Christopher Fund via Women in Trucking

Knoxville, TN—March 26, 2013—American Defense Lawyers will make a $25 donation match (up to $5,000) to the St. Christopher Fund for every new Women in Trucking membership from March 23, 2013-March 14, 2014.

Band Together: A Record-Breaking Success!

The results of TA/Petro’s Band Together Campaign really knocked our socks off this year. Bands were running out within a week so employees started holding bake sales and pie-in-the-face contests to continue raising donations. They must have made some good cookies because the campaign raised $275,736.88 for the St. Christopher Fund! This is the largest donation the SCF has ever received.

To make things even sweeter, TA/Petro raised additional funds during the summer at GATS, the Walcott Jamboree and the Expedite Expo bringing the total raised since June to a whopping $278,207.09! Add this to TA/Petro’s previous fundraising efforts and we’re looking at over $750,000 in donations from drivers and employees. The St. Christopher Fund is greatly appreciative of TA/Petro for their support and we are deeply moved by how much drivers care for one another.

New Scholarship Coming October 1st!

We are excited to announce that, beginning October 1st, the SCF will be accepting scholarship applications for the TBS Factoring Service Trade School Scholarship. This is a $10,000 scholarship that will be awarded to a former professional truck driver who is no longer able to drive professionally due to medical problems.

Drivers Dreams May Come True

Do you ever dream about taking a vacation, buying a special item you’ve always wanted, or even about how to pay off bills? If so, enter the Drivers Dreams contest sponsored by Total Quality Logistics (TQL).

TQL has $10,000 to give away to American drivers and another $25,000 for the St. Christopher Fund, to help drivers in need. That’s right, you can submit your dream, wish or need – big or small.
